“I’m laying here in my toasty warm bed (well actually my air mattress) feeling very thankful. So many things have happened pretty quickly, but here I am safe and sound in Tennessee.
Thank you to all those helping me out. I’ve had wonderful realtors. Misty Michael did an awesome job helping me sell my home. I still can hardly believe we got an offer so quickly. And then the realtor in Memphis, Laura Wallace, who helped me so much. She went above and beyond doing FaceTime home tours, answering questions, providing information and welcoming me home. Misty, thank you for finding her for me.
Thank you to my sister, Teresa Ogle, for coming all the way to Texas to help me out and then drive with me to Memphis. I couldn’t have made it without you and I know you have sacrificed time away to do it.
And of course all my Dallas friends and co-workers who were so sweet in your send-offs. I had parties, food, fellowship, gifts, prayers, etc. Each of you made me feel so loved. I hate there are some I didn’t get to spend time with. I’m really going to miss you all.
I pulled up to my new house yesterday afternoon and it immediately felt like home. It is such a cute and cozy home with beautiful fall trees in the back. I’m pretty sure I’m going to spend a great amount of my time looking out the back windows at God’s creation.
I’m sorry for such a long post. I appreciate your continued prayers as I start a new job, make new friends, find a new church, and unpack all those boxes scheduled to arrive on Monday morning.”
